I applied for an anemometer loan through the GEO/ALP program for the Town of Nederland. Long shot for this year, but maybe next... I suggested the wastewater site, as it's unobstructed and owned by the Town. It sits low in the valley, so it may not be the best site. The ALP has data from Estes Park and Blackhawk. Both were classified as "marginal" sites, but I didn't find many sites in CO that weren't listed as "marginal." Perhaps we'd have a better location. http://otherpower.com/ has details on this workshop but also some other great information. As a former volunteer fire fighter I'd never seen the training presentation to safely deal with renewable energy home systems....just a great website to check out. AWEA 20-year plan for smalll wind
